  Reviews seem to indicate this brand works great and is reliable. The makers allow the timer to be set for regular evening and day times and skip overnight watering possibilities which is considered a good idea.

Criticisms which have been levelled at the 4 zone timer is that you have to set all four zones to the same watering timer. For example, you can’t set zone 1 for 20 minutes, zone 2 for 10 minutes and so on. Also you can only buy sprinkler zone control valves through mail order.
